The achievement of Boyle G.A.A.’s Senior Team sparked a community celebration in Boyle.  Maroon and white flags and bunting bedecked many town buildings to mark the first appearance of the team in the county final since 1927.  The children enjoyed a visit from G.A.A. officials and were given an opportunity to sit in the Roscommon County Team Coach.  They also participated in an art competition organised by the local G.A.A. club.
